This week for Kiwi Sport, Which is the fourth week. This week we played two games ( Ki o rahi).
In the first game we played we had to line up around the cones that were shaped as a circle, Then we had to wait for the people infront of us to kick the ball inside the circle.Every person a has to have one turn at kicking the ball, Once that person is done kicking the ball into the circle then that person has to go into the circle and wait for the other person to kick the ball into the cirlcle while trying to catch the ball.
In the next game (Golden Child), For this game we were split into two groups. The 1st group was the inside of the circle, The other group which I was in was on the outside of the circle in a line. Each group had a ball, My group had to choose one golden child and two guardians. The Guardians were inside the circle around the rock, While the rest of my group was around the outside of the circle.
Inside the circle was the other group, They had to hit the rock while my group runs around the circle. If the rock is hit then the group inside the circle has to say motu, If the rock isnt hit then we have to go around the circle and touch the ground with the ball. After all the group is done running around the circle the golden child has to run and we have to run after the golden child.
I was a Year 7 student at Panmure Bridge School in Auckland, NZ. I was in Learning Space 2 and my teacher was Mrs Anderson.

Kiwi Sport | Ki - O - Rahi
In Kiwisport we were learning about fairplay and honesty, We were learning about fairplay and honesty so we are honest and we show fairplay when we know we are out. We have been learning to be honest when we have gotten out, We also have been learning how to show fairplay.
For the game Taniwha & Kiona you need to make a group of two and make sure the group is even. Kiona is the group name of the group which is outside around te roto and Taniwha is the group in the inside the island. The group taniwha had to throw the ball at the rock if the ball hits the rock the group Kiona has to stop and the group Taniwha had to yell Mutu which means Kiona the group has to stop.
