Kiwi Sport|Boxing

This week for kiwi sport with pax we practised our boxing skills then we did our counter force which is basically with a partner my partner is Liane and one person had noodles and the other had gloves and both boxing gloves . at first to get us into the mood for boxing we played 5 taggers I think thats what its called and there was basically 5 taggers in the game and you could only tag another person by using noodles and the tagger had to tag you under your waist if the tagger got it above your waist the tagger had to do one burpy and if the other person gets tagged then the person had to do 3 burpys and then they were aloud to get back into the game .

Inferring thoughts and emotions

This week for reading we are still learning about inferring, Inferring is when you make a connection to something you think is happening and you think about what is happening in the picture. This week we had to watch a video and screenshot the part when something is happening and put the photo onto our google slide presentation Mr Wong made us and we had to make a copy of the presentation.

This week we had  to make connections using the video we had to watch, We also had to use the presentation to put the photos we had screenshot. On every photo we had to write a inferrence and write what we think is happening in the photo or what we think is happening in the background of the photo.

What is peace

 Before we started with this presentation we had to get into a group of five and write words that were synonoms and antoynyms, Antoynyms are words like war, battle or destroy and synonoms are words like Harmony and words related to peace.  We also had a prize for the people who listed the most words.

 For inqiury we have been learning about Peace, For inqiury our task was to make a copy of the WHAT IS PEACE?? presentation and write what the photos on this presentation show.
After we had wrote about antoynyms and synonoms we had to split our group into three and two, With our group each of us had to create a google drawing to show what we think peace is.

Kiwi Can

This week for kiwi can we played two games, Snake & tic tac toe. To play tic tac toe you need eight chairs and a group of five or six, Then name your group and the name of our group was IDK also known as (I Dont Know). In this game we have to line up in front of the chairs, We were only aloud to sit on a chair when Mr Matt says GO! but the person at the front had to go first. If everybody in your group is lined either cross ways, Straight and in lines.

For the next game we played Snake, To play snake you will need one person to be the snake and the other people had to watch out for the snake. In this game the snake had to touch the people that arent snakes, If the human's that arent snakes get touched they have to become a snake too which means they will have to tag people too and make the humans becoame snakes. 

There is no cheating which means if you get touched you have to make sure you are a snake and not pretending that you weren't touched, You can jump over the snakes and go around things also the people in my class who were playing were standing on things and I think that is cheating. The last person standing is the winner.

Quiz|Cybersmart

This week for cybersmart we had to play a game for kids, The game we played was Safe online surfing. This week we had to create a quiz about things we should make sure we do, We also made this quiz for people to answer our questions and to make the right desision.

This week our task for cybersmart is to create a quiz that askes questions that should help people and help people make sure people make the right desisions when they are online games, Online site, normal sites & Talking to strangers online.

This week for my quiz I have choosen to write mostly about what to do when there are strange messages sent to you from someone you dont know, I also wrote about what to do when a stranger wants to be freinds with you or sending you strange messages.

SSR Selfie

This week for SSR selfie I have chosen to use a Geronimo Stilton book, This book is about Geronimo being chosen by the mayor to give a driving demonstration, But Geronimo’s license was expired.

SSR selfie is used mostly for reading, When you use SSR selfie you have to have a book to read, You also have to make sure you have a good understanding of the book and you must make sure you read the book so you know what's happening in the book.

During SSR selfie you must write something about the main characters, Something that is happening in the book and who the main character is and things that the main character does in the book.

Kiwi Sport

This week for Kiwi Sport we were talking about the combos we learnt about last week, The moves we learnt last week were jab, cross, left hook, right hook, left uppercut & right uppercut and we also learnt jab, jab & Cross.

This week for kiwi sport we had to get with a partner, Then we had to sit down in front of a cone and wait for our instructions from Pax. After we finished siting with our partner, One of us had to go get gloves and boxing clubs, Then the other partner had to help that partner put the boxing clubs on and the partner with nothing had to go get one noodle.

The rules with Pax are - Not to hit anybody with anything and to pay attention when she is speaking or else we have to do burpees. For kiwi sport our partner with clubs had wait for the other partner with the noodle, the partner with the noodle had to hold the noodle over the boxers shoulder and when Pax counted upwards the partner had to swap their shoulders each time.

Then we had to make sure the noodle was touching the boxer, The boxer had to stay standing in rock pisition while moving back and the person holding the noodle had to move foward every  time the boxer moved back and the person holding the noodle wasnt alowed to purposly hit the boxer or reach out to the boxer.

Trench Wafare

This week for inqiury we have been learning about trenches, We also have been learning a little bit about No Man's Land. Trenches are used to keep enmies off defender's land and No Man's Land is a peice of land that wasn't meant for men to cross over to the other side.

This week we had to work with our group and use this slide to write things about trenches and No Man's Land. For our slide we were awsering  these questions - What Trenches are, Health conditions, What's inside of a trench & No Man's Land.
