This week for Tech with Mr Grundy, Which is wood work. We have been finishing up our work from the last term which was our models/wood models, The model I have been making is a ship. We have 4/3 more weeks to finish our wood models, I have finished about half of my ship. I though the ship model would have been hard to finish in 3/4 weeks but I was wrong its really easy to work with and finish. The tools I have used for my model which is a ship are - sledgehammer/hammer, square ruler, ruler, vice, wood, saw and a chisel.

Agent Of Change
This week my class's and my task was to create a DLO called (name) "I Am An 'Agent Of Change'". For this task we wrote about what a agent is, How to become an agent of change and what I will do. Before I created this DLO " Agent of change" we took a photo next to the "Agents of change" sign. On my agent of change DLO I have explaind what a agent is, What I want to acheive and how I will acheive it.

WW1 Transport Ship
In the Morning block we did Inquiry and what we were learning about was WW1 transport Ship. We needed to get information about the transport that the New Zealand Soilders went on to get to Europe. I was working with Jack, Joseph, Sakina, Ellenora and Miiana. We all worked as a group to get the information down about the WW1 Trasnport ship that the New Zealand Soilders went on to get to Europe. The interasting fact that I learnt about was How it took the soilders 48 days to get to egypt.

Technolegy - Wood
This week for Tech at Tamaki College for Mr Grundy's Wood - Work Group, We have been working on our choosen desings. Before we started making our designs we drawed 8 pictures of something we can turn into for example - A airplane. When we finished making or choosing 8 desings Mr Grundy would check that the desings have wooden joints and that the designs are ready or are ok to use for a desingn. After choosing or making 8 desings we would choose a desingn to use and make, The design I have choosen is a wooden ship. When I first chose to make a wooden ship I wrote a short paragraph about what the desingn I used for, Who the design is for, why have I chosen that design, What/How the design can be used. This Week I have gotten up to the level of making a wooden joint. I have really enjoyed Tech this week because I have finished more then what I have finished last week. Alice.

Blog Post Data Analysis
This week we have been looking at how many blog posts we have done each month and year since we started blogging. We used google sheets to make a graph our information which became our Blog Post Analysis. I have worked out the total number of blog post and the average number of blog post.s I made each month for each year. What I found interesting was that I did the most blog posts in December in 2017.

Impact Message|DARE
This week we have been doing DARE, We have been doing DARE for inqiury. We have been talking about how drugs, alcohol and cigareets can either harm you or hurt you, We also had constable Cyrus to come visit us and talk about how drugs, cigareets and alchol can hurt you. After we had a talk about drugs, alchol and cigareets with constable Cyrus we made a DLO something to do with a warning. In my DLO I tryed to write a very importaint and strong message, In my message I explaind what or how something could happen if you drink and drive. I also wrote about how cigareets can harm us or you.

Kiwi Can
This week for kiwi can we talked about what we focused on for last week, We have a new theme which is Co-operation. I think co-operation is like when you work colabrativly together with either groups, teams, pears or partners.
The first game we played was called A's and B's, In this game we choose one person to be our B or A. The person you choose can't know if you have choosen them to be either your a or b, In this game someone is choosen to choose a action for example - Hop. If I said hop you would have to hop until I change the action.
For the next game which was Magic Shoes we were split into groups, In this game one person is choosen to have the magic shoes. The person with the magic shoes has to make sure the person with no magic shoes can get across to the other side with out having to walk. When the person with no magic shoes gets to the other side they have magic shoes and they have the job to get people across the other side.
