Kiwi Can

This week for Kiwi Can LS1 groupB played two games with Kiwi Can-(Miss Lily & Mr Matt)
Energizer:The first game was Bang!,In this game we had to get into a circle beside two people,Firstly we have to get ready with our pretend guns,If your name gets called that means you have bob down,If you don’t get shot than your still in the game and if you get shot than you will have to sit down.
Activity:In this activity we have to be in a circle facing our right or left,There are 3 fruit-Bananna,Orange and Apple,If the leader of the game says Apple more than one time you have to jump forward as much time as the leader says,If the leader of the game says orange more than one time you have to jump more than one time backwards,If the leader says Bananna you have to jump and spin.
Theam:Integrity-Doing the right thing even when nobodys looking.

Kiwi Sport

This week for Kiwi Sport Hamish taught us how to play new ripping games.
The first game we played was ripping other peoples tag off, In this game everybody is not to be trusted,You have to rip others ripper tags and stick them on your belt.
The second game we played was like that game but their is a ball in the game,In this game we had to have two groups-Non bibs and a bibs group,one of the groups have to have the ball and not let any body not in your group get the ball,If the ripper gets ripped than you have to pass the ball to somebody in your group. In the last game we had to find a patner, My patner was Sakina, With your patner you have to line up behind a line,One patner on one side than you have to try and rip your patners ripper off.

Maori



This week for Maori I had to make a google slide about myself,my family,my friends, and where I come from. For this task I had to put photos about myself,my family,my friends and a photo about where I come from.

Digestive System-Nutrition

   
LI: To learn about nutrition and to finish off our compulsory task. This week for inquiry we were learning about nutrition. We had to finish off our compulsory tasks. The compulsory tasks that my group and I finished was the google slide and and the poster/ picture. For the google slide we had to write about what each part of the digestive system does. We decided to add some photos.

Volume and Capacity


This week for Maths we had to do Volume and Capacity. On this google draw we had to put 2 items on the google draw that is a square or ratangle. For this weeks maths Miiana was helping me with my maths. In my maths I had to estimate a awnser, The actual awnser and the volume non mertic awnser.

This week our theam was our Role Model, A role model is somebody that I look up to or want to be like, My role model would be my parents beacuse my parents encoarage me to do new things and also care for me and love me like how I do.

This week for kiwi can games we played two games the first game we played was Doggie Doggie, Instructions: First we have to choose either two people or one person, After we finished choosing there is an item placed between the players feet, Then we get to start the game-The player who was picked had a swimming item, With the swimming item the player had to make sure nobody gets the item,To make sure the player had to swing the swimming item around gentaly so nobody gets hurt.
The last we played was Who’s Missing, Instructions: First when were playing everybodys head has to be down with their eyes closed, Then we have to get up once the teacher or who ever’s playing gives us the signal that we can see who’s gone, When we have thought of three people we have to wait to see who was missing.

L.I To compare explanation with information report.
This week for writing we had to watch a video about how aluminum cans are made,
Then we had to write about how it is made.
I learnt how aluminium cans are made. I learnt what a explanation is.

Compulsory Tasks



LI: To know what Sensitivity is. LI: To finish the compulsory tasks. This week for inquiry we had to finish off our compulsory tasks. We also had to know what Sensitivity is. My group name is Sea Lions. In my group I have Alice, Sandra, Lorenzo and Akuhata. My group finished 2 of the Compulsory tasks. The compulsory tasks that we finished was the Venn Diagram and the Song Lyrics. For the Venn Diagram we had to compare the human nervous system to another animals nervous system. We had to make a copy of the Venn Diagram. For the song lyrics we had to watch a video called Ice Ice baby ( nervous system remix). Once we watched the video we had to make a DLO and write down a list of scientific and technical words. Then we had to write down the meaning. Every time we finish a compulsory task we either get 0 points, 1 point or 2 points. If we finish all of the compulsory tasks we get to do the Elective tasks.

Games:
Today for kiwi can we played two games the first game was like honesty clap,Instructions: First: you have to spread out before we start the game, Next: If Ms Lily moves her arms close together then we don’t clap - Your out if you clap, If Ms Lily’s arms are spread far apart then you can clap.
In the last game we had to pick someone to tag us if we get hit by a ball.
In this game we were split up into two groups, Both groups had to get the main person which is basically the tagger.

Theme:

This week our theme is INTEGRITY-Making good choices, To make good choices we have to do the thing we think is right.

I learnt what integrity is.

Today for reading I had to learn about the Nervous System.
The Nervous System is basically a body part,Skin gives the signal to the spinal cord,The spinal cord
sends a message to the brain and the brain reacts right away.

Today for Kiwi Can LS1 group B played 2 games,The first game was like Simon says but you have to do
the oppisit thing that the leader does for example:The leader steps forward,you have to move backwards.
The last game was termernator tag,If somebody tags you you’re basically out because you have to sit down
and wait for the person who tagged you to get out so you can be free to run around.
I learnt what Integrity is.
I learnt how to use Integrity.

Nervous System

This week for writing I had to explain how the nervous system works,The first thing I did was make a copy of a google doc which was from the LS1 learning site,I used the google doc for a plan of my Nervous System explanation DLO-google doc.I learnt what the nervous system is.
