L.I: To monitor our understanding of a text.
This week for reading we had to get into pairs with a person from a different reading group. We had to read an article called - Adam Hall wins gold at Paralympic Winter Games. We had to take note of all the different words we didn't know and make a copy of a document which had a template on it and write down all those words in the different slots. On the document there was a list of the variety of the fix up strategies. We had to use one strategy for each word. We had to write the word we were stuck on and why, what strategy we used, and what it means now that we know it. I didn't know only 3 words which were (penultimate, Paralympic,Snared
